Dr. Mark David Milliron is an award-winning leader, author, speaker, and consultant who works with universities, community colleges, K-12 schools, foundations, corporations, associations, and government agencies across the country and around the world. He currently serves as Senior Vice President of Western Governors University and Executive Dean of the School of Education. WGU is a nonprofit university founded by 19 U.S. governors more than 25 years ago.

As the Vice Provost for Digital Learning, Dr. Cavanagh oversees the distance learning strategy, policies, and practices of one of the nation’s largest universities. Dr. Cavanagh is also an award-winning instructional designer, program manager, and administrator. His experience has earned him positions on a number of state and national online learning boards and made him a frequent presenter at industry conferences. His research interests include e-learning, technical communication, and the societal influence of technology on education, training, culture, and commerce.

Karen Vignare, Ph.D., M.B.A, is a strategic innovator leveraging emerging technologies to improve access, success and flexibility within higher education. As Executive Director, for the Personalized Learning Consortium at the Association of Public and Land-grant Universities, Karen manages a network of universities committed to student success through personalization. She also oversees the adaptive courseware grant providing leadership and support to eight pioneering universities which are scaling adaptive courseware in introductory level courses.

Trained as a designer, Sukhwant Jhaj uses design thinking to discover new solutions for incremental and disruptive challenges facing higher education. Jhaj pursues ways to create greater levels of student success for all learners across all degree types. He works to identify new ways the university can improve learning outcomes. Jhaj is also the dean of University College, an instrumental and significant part of ASU’s efforts to enhance retention, graduation, and overall student achievement. Jhaj is also a professor of practice in The Design School within the Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts.

John Katzman is an American EdTech pioneer. He has established a number of companies that assist students with their studies and career choices, including Princeton Review, 2U, and Noodle Partners. The last two companies are online program managers. Katzman has also authored books on the subject.

Dr. Wallace Boston was appointed President and Chief Executive Officer of American Public University System (APUS) and its parent company, American Public Education, Inc. (APEI) in July 2004.

Rasmussen co-founded the online education platform MasterClass with David Rogier in 2012, and was responsible for its style and production processes. In 2018, Rasmussen founded Outlier.org, a university-level education platform that allows students to take online classes for college credit that are accredited by the University of Pittsburgh.

Vibhas Madan, PhD, professor of economics, was appointed dean of Drexel University’s LeBow College of Business in December 2020 after serving as interim dean since November 2019. He joined the Dean’s Office in July 2018 as senior associate dean for academic programs. Prior to that, he served as the head of the Economics Department and then as the founding director of the School of Economics, which was launched as a new school within the College in 2013.

Shaunak Roy, Yellowdig's Founder & CEO

Shaunak is the founder and CEO of Yellowdig. Yellowdig is a community-driven active learning platform adopted by over 130 colleges and universities, K12 schools, and corporate training clients.
Yellowdig’s mission is to transform every classroom into an active, social, and experiential learning community.
Shaunak graduated with a degree in mechanical engineering from IIT Bombay and completed his graduate studies at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Prior to founding Yellowdig, Shaunak spent a decade advising global companies on technology, strategy, and growth.
